i2a Data
i2a data are used by members to comply with applicable environmental, health and safety (EHS) legislation in the EU (e.g. EU REACH) and other jurisdictions, and to proactively improve the production, handling, use and supply of antimony substances.
Product stewardship requires the generation and sharing of reliable information on the EHS properties and societal benefits of antimony and its compounds. The most comprehensive and robust sources are the EU REACH registration dossiers and the related extended Safety Data Sheets (eSDS), including all relevant exposure scenarios.
By promoting consistent reference to its data, i2a aims to streamline information over time, enhance regulatory coherence across jurisdictions, and support the safe use of antimony processes and products.
Data-Sharing Conditions
Non-members may refer to or use i2a data by purchasing, as applicable:
- a Letter of Access (LoA);
- a Licence to Use (LtU
An LoA is intended for entities required to register under EU REACH and to refer to the joint registration dossier submitted by the Lead Registrant, without accessing or using the underlying data.
An LtU is intended for entities needing to use the data for registrations under other regulatory schemes (e.g. Korean, Turkish or future UK REACH).
LoA fees are published below and are adjusted when new data must be generated, assessed or updated under EU REACH or other regulatory processes applicable to antimony.
For registrations above 2,000 tonnes per year, companies are invited to contact i2a to discuss specific options.
The standard Letter of Access (LoA) Agreement is available on request. Licence to Use (LtU) Agreements are prepared on a case-by-case basis to meet the specific needs of the data purchaser and largely reflect the general terms and conditions of the LoA Agreement.
Extended Safety Data Sheets (eSDS) are available upon request, at a cost of €1,500 + VAT for the English version and €500 per translation available through i2a.
