Globally Harmonised System (GHS) & EU CLP Regulation

i2a has established self-classifications for ten antimony substances using the criteria of the UN Globally Harmonised System (GHS) and applicable legislation, including the EU CLP Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.

These recommended self-classifications take account the legally binding harmonised classifications, where available, as well as the purity profile, physical form and relevant scientific evidence for each substance. Read-across, grouping and weight-of-evidence approaches are used where scientifically justified to support the assessment of substances for which the available dataset is more limited.

These classifications are periodically reviewed and updated as necessary in light of new scientific information, regulatory developments or evaluation outcomes.
